Tax rebate 30%

Generally speaking, shooting costs in Hungary are about 35-45% cheaper than in Western Europe, and you can save at least 20% of your budget compared to shooting in the neighboring Eastern European countries.
To make the market even more competitive, the Hungarian National Film Fund, hand in hand with Hungarian Government, introduced a simple tax rebate (and granted it at least until 2024), which allows you to get back 30% of your production budget, when it comes to movies or music videos.
